Luther Young is a designer based in Los Angeles, CA. His training started as an Industrial Design student at the Carnegie Mellon School of Design in Pittsburgh, PA. At CMU he learned fundamental skills related to concept development, research and user centered design. After a quick stint in NYC at a large fashion company he returned to school to receive his graduate degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. At RISD he further refined his interests and moved beyond products to explore identity systems, design writing and exhibition fabrication. These experiences opened the gateway to the mutli-disciplinary design approach he uses today.
